      I'm unsure if I can post the game idea I want because of some of its content and would like to know if it's ok first before submitting

        @Lynx316 Hi there! Material that isn't allowed in a submission can be found here.

        If still unsure, feel free to reply here about the nature of the content that you have questions about.

        Alternatively, you can reach out on Discord! 😀

        Hope this helps!

          @arrex yes sorry I'm still unsure because my submission deals with earth and but in the future it would have some details about war and discrimination but of a fictional people it would use real life places but no real life events

            I too, would have a question about this... In my submission (work in progress) I would want the "humans" to be not well received on a foreign planet. Nothing crazy as far as discrimination goes, but it would help build the tension of the story and ultimately will have a noble resolution. I can remove this element if need be.

              @Lynx316 @Ezra Content that explores human atrocities can be okay, but we do reserve the ability to not select a Tale on the grounds of it having content that encourages any of the many types of systemic oppression in the real world.

              For example, a story that dives into discrimination that parallels immigrant discrimination in the real world could be a problem if it trivializes the struggles of immigrants and/or gives any sort of validation to oppressors.

              We are all still learning through this process, so your feedback on this is important to us and we'll use it to refine our policies. It is also important to us to encourage community building that fosters open cooperative role-play. Themes of various forms of oppression can get in the way of that primary goal, so I think for discrimination the question to ask yourself is if you imagine people may feel hesitant or not taking on key player-character roles in such a Tale.

                  @Ezra Ok Thank you Faye:)

                  For mine, I had planned on all the playable characters to be the underdogs so no one would be in the oppressor role. With any game plot, there has to be some kind of conflict to overcome I think. My original story focused on humanity being the odd ones out in a new environment with habitants who felt humans were less evolved.
