The Birth of Equipoise
Four elemental beings were created from the sun, Piros (red sun), and the darkness, Nox. Terra was created first, as the physical ground. Aqua came next, to nurture Terra. Ventus followed, created to guide the Aqua’s water and create tides. Ignis came next to give light to the darkness and warmth from the cold winds of Ventus. Piros gave her children one last gift, the gift to also create life. The love between the children grew, and since their connection was so deep, they could create their own worlds while still being interconnected. Aqua created a planet of water, half pristine and tropical, half frozen in ice. Ventus created a planet of storms, half beautiful and calming, half electrically destructive. Ignis created a planet of fire, half flowing with lava from its vast volcanos, the other half covered in sands of its deserts. Piros did not tell her children that life had a cycle and unlike the four siblings, their children died. Their sadness collectively created Mortuus, their bastard brother of death. Mortuus created his own planet, giving the dead of Equipoise a place to live out their afterlife.
Concept: In the galaxy, Equipoise, there are five planets, Terra Dominus, Aqua Dominus, Ignis Dominus, Ventus Dominus, and Mortuus Dominus. Each planet has a deity, which watches over their people. Our Journey starts in Terra Dominus, which is inhabited by both quotidians (commonfolk) and enhancers (quotidians gifted with abilities). On Terra Dominus, a wealthy leader of a conglomerate seeks to colonize and conquer the surrounding planets of Equipoise. Opposing his archaic views, a morally sound competitor seeks to build a team to protect the galaxy and all that reside. Will you join SEED and seek to conquer Equipoise or will you Join HARPY and become a protector of Equipoise?
History of Conflict: Celio, a magic enhancer, is the owner and C.E.O of a large pharmaceutical corporation known as SEED. Nikos Celio is a public figure and seen as a leader of the new world. Unbeknownst to the people of Terra Dominus, Nikolos Celio seeks to create a world where only enhancers rule, and quotidians are enslaved or killed. Nikos uses his immense wealth, masked as a non-profit organization, to dominate the children of Piros and colonize Terra Dominus’s surrounding planets.
Nikos Celio has already manipulated the people of Terra Domunius, stating the mission of SEED is to explore the galaxy in an effort to find cures for an incurable disease which plagues Enhancers and Quotidians. When in fact SEEDs pharmaceutical products are the ones infecting the city with incurable ailments.
Desiderdre, the founder of HARPY, a more holistic and moral company focused on space travel, was an old colleague of Nikos Celio before he started SEED. Desiderdre knows of Nikos’s true intentions, and puts together her own team to counter him and save Equipoise from being consumed by Nikos and his constitutes.

Terra Dominus:
Biome: Earth-like biome with heavy vegetation. Large cities and small towns scattered around the planet inhabited by both quotidians (commonfolk) and Enhancers (quotidians gifted with abilities).
Inhabitants: Full spectrum of the animal kingdom, Enhancers, quotidians, Spriggans, Dryads.

SEED: Pharmaceutical company.
SOIL: Non-profit research company and an extension of SEED.
HARPY: Spacecraft manufacturer company.
DIACORE: Non-profit company and an extension of HARPY.
FPA: Federal Preserve Agency: Government task force and peace keepers of Terra Dominus.
PSA: Precog Surveillance Agency: Government branch of psychic enhancers who have the ability in precognition. Using their ability to see the future, PSA sends FPA task forces to stop crimes before they are committed.
Slayers: Secret society of assassins.
Aqua Dominus
Biome: 80% Water, Island Cities, Tundra region.
Inhabitants: Sirens, Merfolk, Selkies, Sea life, mythical sea life, frost giants,

Vulneria: Sanctuary of Sea creatures (Protected coral reefs)
Mandolin Bay: Lawless town of sirens and selkies
Kelous: Underwater kingdom of the merfolk
Ignis Dominus
Biome: Half desert. Half volcanic rock with active volcanoes.
Inhabitants: Flame and Sand Atronachs (in human and animal forms). Desert reptiles, serpentines (serpent humanoids)

Mortar Haven: Volcanic forest of the Flame Atronachs
Skullcrater: Mass grave in the desert
Ignis’s Oasis: tropical Oasis in the heart of the desert
Grispbane: Serpent City of Thieves. Largest city on Ignis Dominus.
Ventus Dominus
Biome: Largest planet, overcast/calm storms (heat lightning, occasional light rain, constant thunder), pockets of extreme constant hurricane like storms and tornadoes. Harpy cities created in burnt/leafless tree tops.
Inhabitants: Majority is uninhabitable. Harpies (electrical bird humanoids), multiple birds made of electric energy called Concussa.
Known Places:
Splitscope Mountain: Mountain with a never ending lightning storm at its peak. Uninhabitable
Starlington: In the eye of a large ongoing storm. This city inhabited by harpies is made of burnt wood, surrounded by rods to repel lightning. Largest and only city in Ventus Dominus.
Pulvania: Small town outside Starlington. in the eye of a storm.
Mortuus Dominus
Biome: Lifeless with a dense fog that coats the entire planet. Filled with valleys and mountains. No vegetation.
Inhabitants: Spirits from Equipoise. Types of spirits: Wraits (vengeful), Wisps (harmless orbs), Ghosts (most common. Echoes of dead Enhancers and Quotidans), and Screamers (spirits caught between existing and not existing, when they appear they scream then vanish)
Known Places:
Land of unmarked Graves: Screamers and wraiths gravitate here
Mortuus Peak: Vast heavily fogged mountains with interconnected pitch black caves.

Anabelle Anatolius: (Quotidians)

Occupation: HARPY astronaut
Origin: Anabelle Anaolius was a child star turned astronaut. Being blessed with exquisite beauty, Anabelle became an instant success on the stage. Behind stage Anabelle would be found studying astronomy and physics. Anabelle graduated the academy at 15 years old and started her career at HARPY.
Dargus:(Physical Enhancer)
Gender Identity: He/Him
Enhancement: Brawler
Occupation: Ex-Slayer, Harpy ‘contractor’
Origin: Both parents murdered by Slayers, Dargus was taken at age 9. The foster homes couldn’t control his enhanced abilities or his temper. The FPA took him into custody but he later escaped. Dargus became a nomad, penniless and unhoused. After years wandering the roads of Terra Dominus, he was recruited by the Slayers. Dargus spent his early adulthood as a trained assassin. On a mission, Dargus experienced love at first sight with a known politician Valeska Hedre. Dargus abandoned his mission and his target became his wife. Changing his name to Trig he lived happily with his wife and son. The Slayers revisited their contract and sent assassins to kill Valeska and her family. Dargus escaped but was framed for the murder of his son and wife. Desiderdre, on her quest to assemble her team, recruited Dargus promising they will clear his name.
Quin Celio: (Psychic Enhancer)

Occupation: Teenager, Farmer
Origin: Impregnated at a young age, Venus Celio had her child alone without trace of the father. Sister of billionaire Nikos Celio, and CFO of SEED, Venus had one goal, making enhancers the superior rulers of Equipoise. Venus sent Quin to a remote farm where she paid a family to take him in as their own. Only a few years later, without her knowledge, Nikos sent a Slayer known as Dargus to assassinate Quin, seeing him as a distraction to his sister's work. When Dargus arrived at the farm, he saw Quin practicing his powers on a tractor in a field. Dargus saw how young he was and spared his life, but told Nikos that he in fact did kill the boy. Venus was devastated by the death of her only son, and deep down knew her brother was behind his death.
Eve Clover: (Magic Enhancer)

Enhancement: Magic Abilities (Medium, Spell Casting)
Occupation: Former PSA agent
Origin: Eve was a well known magic enhancer at a young age. Recruited to the PSA, Eve felt like they weren’t using their gifts for good. Eve left the agency and decided to privately help quotidians reach out to lost family members with their ability to talk to the spirits of Mortuus Dominus. Being so interconnected to the spirit world, Eve's dream was to visit Mortuus Dominus and help the Wraiths and Screamers find peace. Dargus, after being recruited by Desiderdre, reached out to Eve to help connect him to his lost wife and son. While trying to channel the deceased, Eve was blocked and only heard constant screaming. Knowing well that this meant the spirits were in pain. Dargus convinced Desiderdre to recruit Eve on their mission of peace in Equipoise. In this deal Eve agreed to go to Mortuus Dominus and help Dargus’s family and any other past entity she can make contact with.
SOIL: Nikos Celio’s team, weaponize the power of the elemental gods, to make Equipoise an Enhancer ruled galaxy.

Origin: Lilith’s ability to transform into animals connected them to the animal kingdom. Using their ability, Lilith tested animals to create the disease that slowly plagued the people of Terra Dominus. Ashamed with the power Lilith gave to Nikos, Lilith joins SOIL to help actually find the cure to the destruction they have done to the people of Terra Dominus.

In your campaigns you will start in Terra Dominus, choosing to protect Equipoise or seek to dominate it.
Joining SEED:
If you choose to join SOIL your initial mission is to expand and colonize on the surrounding planets. Starting at Seed HQ, you get recruited by one of the NPCS of SOIL and form your team. After your team is formed, you will design your ship. Then you choose which mission you want to start with.
Joining Diacore:
If you choose to join DIACORE your initial mission is to defend Equipoise from SEED and find antidotes for the people of Terra Dominus. Starting at HARPY HQ, you get recruited by one of the NPCS of Diacore and form your team. After your team is formed, you will design your ship. Then you choose which mission you want to start with.
Example Mission: Salintia: Kingdom of Sirens (SOIL)
Your team travels to Salintia, a city within Aqua Dominus, with the objective of conquering the Siren kingdom. Make your way through the city and break into the palace to take siege.
Example Mission: Grispbane: Serpent City of Thieves (DIACORE)
DIACORE got word of SEED sending SOIL agents to Ignis Dominus. SEED has allied themselves with a group of thieves of Grispbane, who are disloyal to their deity Ignis. To alleviate the people of Grispbane, DIACORE must stop this band of thieves from stealing a crown jewel which grants the beholder control of the Atronachs of Ignis Dominus. If SOIL gets their hands on this jewel they will have an army of powerful Atronachs.
*In the future I hope to expand Seed/Harpy industries to the other planets and recruit their own inhabitants as agents (merpeople, serpentines, harpies etc.) This extension will also bring more complexity to character building and abilities.
