Draw Me Like....

Story Title:
Draw Me Like…Elevator pitch-
You’ve landed on a barren planet, one lone figure approaches your ship. He carries a large paintbrush and introduces himself as Cade a god of creation. He then hands you a small brush and says “let’s see if you can paint this world better than the last user.” With a sinister chuckle he vanishes leaving you on this barren planet to mold yourself.History-
This planet is a blank slate, it’s as if you landed on an empty rock in space. The player will use their newly found brush to create everything from plants, buildings, animals, intelligent life, etc.
This current iteration of the world has no known history, however through player choice they may meet the previous creator that left the planet in the state it was.
The player will start off by creating clouds and coloring in the sky, they will then be tasked with creating rocks, all of these can either be selected via prefab or freely drawn! After a few rocks and other stationary structures are created the player will then unlock painter level 2 allowing them to alter terrain level allowing the creation of mountains/ valleys and oceans. After those are set the player will then gain access to painter level 3 gaining the ability to create animation points to allow the creation of living walking things. The higher levels will allow the creation of more complex things, the goal is to create a living functioning planet. Depending on the peace level (things such as extinct species, warring tribes, and weapon creation contribute negatively to overall peace level) when the player reaches max painting level the final boss will appear. If peace level is low Cade will appear to destroy the “mess” you’ve created. If peace level is high Crix the previous creator will appear to destroy your perfectly running society. This fight has the capability of destroying the entire planet, the player must use everything they’ve created to both fight and defend their planet.
(EX: Cade/Crix summons a meteor down to obliterate part of the planet, the player quickly drops a barrier they’ve previously drawn and use a painter skill to enlarge guarding planet then summons a large wind gust to blow the shards back at Cade/Crix)
The outcome of the fight depends on if Cade/Crix is defeated and also how much damage was done to the planet (if the player is unhappy with the destruction level of their planet they can either rebuild or rewind time to redo the fight at their leisure. That will then end the game allowing a post game with full creation capabilities.Setting:
A barren planet the player can completely mold themselves. Locations will all be created via player, but there will be prefab settings for towns, roads, large cities, etc. as with everything these prefabs are entirely optional. The size of the planet is as large a world that’s possible using Livetale, allowing a true realistic creation experience.Characters:
-
Cade- the god of creation
-
Crix- the mad previous creator
-
Player created sentience- Complex races the player creates once their painter level reaches high enough (can be soldiers, miners, etc.) each class gives an advantage to the player.
Other Notable Aspects of the World:
-
Player uses a Notebook to store all creations they’ve created allowing for easy access to be used later.
-
All resources will be very similar to Earth’s resources in class/ reactivity to other elements, however shape, size, and anything else can be dictated by player. This will give a basic blueprint allowing a realistic concept for advanced building requiring two or more items interacting with oneanother.
-
Flora and Fauna will all be player generated and may have sentience, roles, etc. if that’s the direction the player chooses to go.
-
Governments will start forming automatically as more and more reproductive specimens are created and they gain sentience, however the player may stop this from happening by ensuring tribes never meet and if they get too intelligent they can be purged, however this will negatively impact the total peace level of the planet. The player may also choose the hermit style and just watch everything they’ve created war, fight, form peace, etc.
Plot lines:
-
The Cade Ending- Have a planet at low peace level after maxing out painter level Cade will appear to destroy you and your planet. To succeed you must destroy Cade with minimal damage to your planet.
-
The Crix Ending- Have a planet at high peace level Crix will appear to destroy you and your planet. To succeed you must destroy Crix with minimal damage to your planet.
-
Cade’s Helping Hand- Have a planet with a truly neutral peace level, Crix will appear to destroy you and your planet, however this time Cade will also appear to lend you a helping hand defending your planet as you attack. To succeed you must destroy Crix with minimal damage to your planet and Cade must survive.
-
God Mode- After completing all three endings a hidden painter tier will unlock allowing the creation of magic and superhuman characters, essentially allowing you to create physic defying NPC’s that you can either fight or call one of the two bosses (or both) to watch fight.
