CANCELED
-
I was recently lamenting the loss of the Santa Clarita Diet and my dearest Timothy Olyphant, and felt the need to commiserate!
I mean look at that face, how could anyone not be sad!What show would you love to revive from the depths of canceldom? Why does it need to be brought back?? What thing left untold must you know??
-
@mianngu
I loved this show. I need to know what happens to him now that he's a zombie.... this is terribly unfair >:[ -
FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS. I miss this show every day of my life. I know everyone has moved on to other very very cool projects (What We Do in the Shadows, Our Flag Means Death,
BritBretβs music career) but um. I mean. I want FOTC.Honorable mention to The Last Man on Earth but considering the subject matter (a deadly pandemic...) I donβt foresee it ever coming back. Hannibal is also commonly brought up when people talk about cancelled shows but I think it ended perfectly.
-
@mianngu They left it in such a huge cliffhanger too
My vote goes to Mindhunter (2017) though; amazing writing, acting and directing. There was so much more to explore there, but David Fincher says we can't have nice things.
-
@Mariano oh yeah, Mindhunter was SO GOOD, Iβm still not over Cameron Britton as Ed Kemper. What an eerily perfect performance!
-
@SwampCreature Agree 100%; for such a polished show to have someone so unanimously steal every scene they're in, it really speaks volumes of how perfect Britton was as Kemper.
Also seconding your thoughts on LMOE, pandemic-wise probably fortunate to have ended it in 2018, but I still quote that show to this day. "It truly was a Shawshank Redemption" will live rent-free in my head forever.
