Which video game world would you choose to live in?

If you could live in the world of ANY video game (and not necessarily deal with the dramatic events of the game...), which would you choose? Would you live under a giant mushroom in Zangarmarsh? Roam the pretty green landscapes of Spira? I know nobody wants to live in Silent Hill....

I know it's a deeply imperfect, often tumultuous city, but I think I would choose to live in Aerith's house in Midgar (Final Fantasy 7). I was so in love with it in the original game, a peaceful and beautiful hideaway in the slums:

And now with the remake, it's been transformed into an absolute dream. I remember the moment I first saw it while playing FF7 Remake - it literally took my breath away.

I would love to run a dive bar in night city in the world of cyberpunk. You never know what you would get to see. Serve a drink to a fixer and an edge runner about to pull a heist. Clean the bar and watch the beginning of a revolution. An oasis set on a dying world, poisoned by corporate greed, a powder keg ready to be set alight by a single errant shot. The beginning of a new world. The death of a dying one. Served one drink at a time

Plus, like robot arms are like super cool.

Vast sprawling overworld with beautiful vistas, cool people everywhere, and heavy metal culture as far as the eye can see. Plus I could hang out with frickin' Lemmy himself. That world could be my Valhalla and I'd be okay with it.

@SwampCreature The world of the Pokemon games. It's pretty safe, everyone gets a Pokemon (no chosen subgroup of people), and you can do whatever you want (trainer, gym leader, contest participant, breeder).

I do have a soft spot in my heart for Tamriel, there are so many beautiful places within the Elder Scrolls universe. I hate the cold irl, but Skyrim is such a gorgeous landscape; I've spent countless hours exploring it and discovering new things.

I feel like there's probably one I like more, but I'll have to noodle on it a bit, I can never recall things off the top of my head
