We have now about 50 submissions, (if I counted well) and wanted to ask to the authors of the ideas: How do you feel with your final draft? It's so cool to see so many cool ideas presented. Do you think it will make it far? Reading other submissions gave you any new ideas you haven't thought of before?

Eh, I feel alright about my submission. For me the biggest constraint was time and during those couple of week a lot of my time was spent outside the house so I had to submit most of the posts via phone. As such I wish I found this contest sooner so I could have had more time to make one long concise post without my work being deleted between turning off my little handheld cellular device… nonetheless I do hope I win, I hope what I posted is interesting enough to catch everyone’s eye. I read other peoples submissions, it did give me ideas for the world, however they didn’t make it into the submission. But I did revise the world in my notebook so… that’s something at least.

I love my world I wasn't able to get Everything in there but I got the basics It's just one of the many I've got. I got crippling self doubt so I don't believe it will make it every far. everyone else's submissions are amazing and I'm so happy for everyone who was able to get Thiers in in time and they all inspire me to great lengths

Honestly, I'm quite disappointed in mine. I had two more submissions in the works that I just never managed to get put together in time, and I think my current one is lacking in a lot of ways. But that's ok. Live and learn

I'm feeling pretty good about mine, all things considered. I didn't want to get too deep into the weeds as far as setting and such. Just enough to get people thinking, "I wanna see more!" I suspect my lack of art may be a minor detriment, but by the same token, it leaves things open when it comes to the actual production process.

My understanding was that this was a pitch, not necessarily an entire design document. I figured I'd have to split the difference between fine details and general overview. Think I did well enough, but we'll see.

I feel quite good about mine. I had a lot more I was hoping put in but I feel like I had a fair amount for develpers to work with. If Livetale choose to go further with mine I hope to work more with you guys in the future.

I'm at peace with mine and felt they gave a reasonable idea of the scenarios without over explaining things. I feel if anything is specifically lacking, it might be due to my incomplete understanding of how to use the formatting on this forum. I had an awful time trying to do my first submission with it, so I redid it without as much formatting.

I feel it's important not to get too anxious about things, at least not as far as my side of this goes. I'm no stranger to failure and getting disregarded in popularity vote situations, but I figured I'd still try. It's almost always better than doing nothing.

I did read some other submissions and I saw some interesting ideas. It was also fun to observe who was coming at the project from certain mindsets. I could see those who wrote in the style of a tabletop RPG game or that of a fictional story/encyclopedia hybrid ala The Silmillarion, whereas others took the approach of a video game plot or a project made off the cuff for the contest.

Most of what I saw by content was around what I expected, I think. I did try to limit my exposure though, at least until I was done with mine. I believe that idea contamination is a thing and that it wreaks havoc with one's developed style, for better or worse.

                  I'd rather be creating!
