Favorite memory from early days of Web 2.0

Early days of Web 2.0 were a fun time. People were trying different things just for the hell of it as they explored what the internet could be. What are some bizarre, fun, hard-to-remember-they-existed things you remember from those days?

@Mrs-Whatsit I was very heavy into LiveJournal communities in the early aughts (actually I started on DeadJournal because of course I did ). I actually made a lot of friends who Iām still in touch with. We also had IRC chats for LJ communities which were so much fun.
I also miss MySpace so much...personally I think it was far superior to other major social media sites that are still around. I spent hours learning basic HTML so I could have a cool profile page that played a low-quality MCR midi. And who could forget the cutthroat personal politics of the Top 8? Loved it.

I wasn't terribly active on social media back in the day. I did participate in a Sailor Moon webpage with some friends in High School. We had to learn HTML and basic photo editing. It was really just a compilation of biographies and episode summaries, but it was so fun.
Also Neopets. Played that game for hours, caught in the thrall of that pyramid solitaire game.
