What's your favorite movie based on a game?

Partially inspired by the new Dungeons & Dragons movie, tell me about your favorite movie based on a game! Any game, be it TTRPG or video game or uh. I guess board games? Clue rules and everyone knows it!!! Anyway...
My all-time favorite is the Silent Hill movie, I think it's a rare video game movie that holds its own if you're not familiar with the source material. I'm also obligated, as a FF7 fan, to love FF7 Advent Children...regardless of things like quality or comprehensibility.

@SwampCreature A tough one, for sure. I'd have to say the best one has to be the Dead Space animated film (I don't recall the name). It did a good job of filling the same 'horror in space' genre and kept true to the source material. Plus, it didn't conflict with any in-game lore.

I gotta go with Warcraft. Advent Children is definitely up there, for I saw it as a child. But Warcraft felt like a really cool movie to me at the time. I still don't know why it failed that hard. Obviously my opinion is filled with love for Warcraft 3, i remember that thing like I remember Dark Reign 2, much much cooler than they actually were.
I just love the vibe of the movie, the way they present certain things like the languages, and what can I say? Travis Fimmel is pretty cool in everything he does. -
I liked Warcraft too! Blizzard has always done a good job with their cinematics. I know it's not the same, but at least it means they know what they want it to look like. I felt that seeing the movie added depth and context to the World of Warcaft game, which I still hold a deep affection for.

Wondering if I can substitute a TV series? My favorite has to be the Witcher if only because I hated the game so much. It had so many fucking keyboards - one for combat, one for normal, one for horseback riding. I really wanted to like the game, but alas the show is way better. Also, my partiality has absolutely nothing to do with Henry Cavill or Joey Batey. Totally unbiased here.

I liked Advent Children. It was a trip. Spirits Within has some great scenes, but overall wasn't great.

@SwampCreature I feel like I've stayed away from a lot of movies based on games because so many of them have been really bad
That said, Clue is definitely an incredible movie, and would get my vote as favorite; and I thought that Detective Pikachu had no business being as good as it ended up being

@mianngu I agree 100%, especially lately, some great TV adaptations of games have been coming out and blowing movies out of the water. Witcher was amazing in the live action category, but my favorites have been animated, like Castlevania and Arcane

@SwampCreature I still like the first Silent Hill movie. While the plot wasn't quite spot on, I felt it captured the ambiance and feel nicely.
