@Kendall Oh my absolute favorite has got to be the World of Darkness Changling, Mage, and mortal systems! However I like open roleplay a lot too (more or less systemless). I'm also really excited about Thirsty Sword Lesbians, because it is very social roleplay oriented, but I haven't played it yet.

@Kendall I'm really getting into the Old School Renaissance (OSR) games, namely Mörk Borg.
That one is a little dark for some, but there are others that look interesting. Old School Essentials, for one.
Fate is another good one, which @SwampCreature mentioned above. I just got disenchanted with D&D around v3, when WotC made it super stats-and-rules heavy. I just want to tell a cool story with my friends without getting a degree in advanced math first.

In the last 40+ years, I've played/DM'd in every version of D&D, plus pretty much every major system between then and the early 00s. Original World of Darkness, Chill (A Scary Game for Scary People), original Warhammer RPG, Marvel and DC-branded superhero games, Champions, Star Frontiers, Middle-Earth RPG, Top Secret, GURPS, Cthulhu, original Star Wars RPG, TOON, Paranoia, Car Wars, Twilight 2000 ... seriously, you name an RPG published between 1978 and 2000 and I owned it or at least played it once.
Since the turn of the century, I have stuck with homebrewed D&D since I mostly play with close friends and family. They aren't rules-sticklers and I am more Storyteller than Dungeon Master these days.
So, I gotta say D&D 5e for now, Pathfinder 2e is okay, for most of the games I play. When I wanna play Superheroes, I still fall back to the old Marvel Superheroes FASERIP system, since it's easy to introduce new players to.

The first games I ever played in were Pathfinder, but I’ve been a 5e dm for years. Venturing into the CYPHER system now and it is amazing. Old Gods of Appalachia is dropping a ttrpg using the cypher system this year and I am SO excited

I recently backed Adam Ellis's new ttrpg Fever Knights and I'm pretty excited to read through it but it doesn't arrive until October.

I'm really into the OSR-style "rules light" systems. Anything that favors good storytelling over needing a degree to navigate the rules system.
Specifically, Mörk Borg is great. "Light on rules, heavy everything else."

I've been playing 5e with my friends for about 5 years now. Playing and DMing, we rotate responsibility. Recently due to the OGL fiasco, we all got a kick in the pants to start exploring new systems. I ran a session of Shadow of the Demon Lord for my team, and they quite liked it so I think we'll keep bring that in periodically. When I was a kid, I loved playing Champions, the superhero system, and I'd like to get up-to-date on the last rule set 6e at some point and run a few games for my team, but it's rather complicated to get a handle of. I'd be open to playing almost any system and I have interesting in Pathfinder, 13th Age, Mythras, Numenera, Spire, Warhammer 40k, Ars Magica, and Worlds Without Number...but I don't know the systems to any degree to run them. They are on my to-read list to learn eventually!

D&D open source D20 is probably the simplest.
Although most of my gaming experience is with WW (White Wolf) OWOD (Old World of Darkness) LARP. I've played most of options but have created/run long-term WtA (Werewolf) games.
